Chloey Cho is the Founder and Executive Director of Solis and Luna Arts. She began exploring different art forms from a young age, whether it be painting pottery, playing the violin, or designing fashion.
As a high school music major, she has competed in numerous music, writing, and art competitions, which fueled her passion for all forms of art and inspired her to explore beyond them.
Through these experiences, she's been able to develop her love and passion for the arts. From playing for audiences, she noticed the therapeutic benefits that it can bring to others. Growing up, Chloey witnessed her grandfather's daily struggle with PTSD from his service in Vietnam, which was further complicated by severe insomnia. His experience resonated with her as she began to face her own health issues during high school.
WHAT DRIVES US
Discovering the healing power of music during her research on
insomnia and mental health prompted Chloey to establish Solis and Luna Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to providing
therapeutic services through various forms of creative arts.
Our members are aspiring arts therapists who use their skills
to lift the moods for those who are dealing with physical and mental problems.
OUR MISSION
We originally began as an organization centered around music therapy, but we have since broadened our scope to include other creative fields such as art therapy, nail art therapy, dance therapy, and cooking therapy.
By sharing Chloey's journey and advocating for accessible healthcare solutions, we aim to provide support and healing across all forms of art to individuals facing similar challenges.
